Gravity is a popular, intermediate-level project designed by Jaybird Quilts. Originally designed in 2004, the latest iteration of the quilt uses an assortment of Northcott basics that provide the quilt with gorgeous texture and a full spectrum of color.
Gravity was written in a block of the month format that guides you through creating 2 blocks each month for a total of 18. In the final month, you'll create the neutral setting blocks for the gradient background. By purchasing the boxed kit, you'll receive the full Gravity pattern, precut 10" squares for block assembly, and additional fabric for the background and binding. How and when you create the quilt is up to you!

This quilt finishes at 97" by 96" and requires 8.5 yards of backing fabric (not included in the kit). Also recommended for the project are the following tools from Jaybird Quilts:
