How much does longarm quilting cost?
Our quilting patterns range from .025 to .05 cents a square inch. A flat $8 thread charge will also be required, plus additional fees for any optional services like trimming and binding.
How long does longarm quilting take?
Our lead time varies throughout the year. In general, you can expect your quilt to be ready in 8-10 weeks. Our staff will provide you with a more accurate estimate during intake.
What if I need my quilt by a certain date?
We'll do our best to finish the quilt by your due date. If that date is sooner than our current lead time, we may require a rush fee to have your quilt completed in time.
How much backing fabric do I need?
We ask that your backing is a minimum of 4" larger than your quilt top on all sides.
What if I don't have my backing fabric yet?
Poppy's staff is happy to help you find the perfect backing from our beautiful selection of 108" prints!
Do I need to bring my own thread?
No - Poppy's staff will help you choose from a wide selection of thread options in-store.
Do I need to bring my own batting?
No - Poppy's is proud to carry Hobbs Heirloom® Batting for our quilting services, but we accept other high-quality brands at our discretion.
Do you offer a binding service?
Yes - for an additional fee, Poppy's staff can trim and bind your project for you. Your quilt will be completely finished and ready to enjoy (or gift) at pick-up!
How do I pick a quilting design?
At intake, you'll be provided with a binder that includes dozens of quilt designs. Pick your favorite, or ask us for help picking the best fit for your project!
